The Love Question is one Practical Occult has sought to address in 2023’s Love Magic class. This was done by approaching the sorcery behind the subject in a method that, while not shying away from the realities of life, still strove to remain ethical, focused and complete. The goal was to provide education that the student could walk away with feeling both confident and clean in execution and result. To summon the right new person from the world, a vast world of billions, and get to start on a brand new life.
Much ado has been made of “self love spells” and the like in recent years and, while personal good feelings are important, we have always aimed to put real magic, real sorcery, in the hands of our customers. Whether it is Venus pentacles to draw love, luxury, creativity and passion or the sorcerous methods of expanding one’s reach in the dating world, we would rather teach a Discerning Individual to fish, sell them a fish or just about anything besides point to an inaccurate diagram of a fish and proclaim, “BEHOLD! A FISH!”
Towards that same end, this year we have produced a class on the magic of Glamours. As avoided as the question of Love Magic, and for often the same reasons, Glamours are, nevertheless, a timeless and essential part of magic and, dare it be said, the romantic world. Far from suggesting that putting on makeup and “feeling yourself” suffices as a potent psychic projection known to those who produce real Glamours, we aim to provide the methods, strategies and, indeed, ethical discussion on the nature of the topic itself.
Just as our Venus Pentacles, from the verdant abundance of charm and inspiration of the Second of Venus to the emerald-energy of attraction of the Third and Fifth of Venus, place the ability to level-up one’s amorous, romantic or social life directly into the hands of the buyer, so, too, could our Third of Sol Pentacle (for what makes a better statement than a growing kingdom and the power that comes along with it?) and even our Jupiterian Honors and Dignities pentacle. Further, going from the Celestial to the Sublunar, plenty of our Magic of Antiquities line can charm a life in ways that align expertly with the goal of relieving loneliness in favor of genuine love and companionship if aimed correctly.
