Myths and Magick with Arden Leigh- A Review

It’s no secret that we at Practical Occult take seriously any and all methods that can help make a person not just better at magic but more magical as a whole. To this end, the first in a series of classes, books or other resources that do just that that we intend to spotlight is the class by Arden Leigh called Myths and Magick.

In many cases, clients approach us with a fine set of on-the-ground enchantment skills but find they are lacking in a sort of roadmap or series of guidelines on how to approach getting the life they want. A class like this provides a firm and workable north star to the student by explaining not just aspects of personhood one can actively integrate into one’s life but also information that can help a person entirely embody the sort of creature they want to be in a vast and dynamic way.

Arden takes students through this process in a unique way that comes from her perspective as an expert on human behavior patterns. She discusses how to be inspired by the fiction we consume and even a primer on narrative magic and hypersigiling throughout. She guides the participants through character archetypes and how to construct an enchantable life.

This sort of education, prompting and inspiration to think differently about life can, we believe, pair expertly with more active, operative sorcery and passive enchantments via amulets one may own. Cross-training is a well-known method in many areas of life to vastly enhance and level-up one’s craft. It is no different in the world of magic. Sleeping on supplementary education like this is unwise for anyone who intends to actively approach forging a beautiful life through use of sorcery of any and all kinds.

In terms of a sorcerous pedigree, Arden is known for weaving magic into the music she creates, resulting in longitudinal changes in her and others’ lives. Far from theoretical armchair pontifications, the results in her life speak for themselves and so, too, will they from any employing methods taught by her in this course.

In short, Arden displays the bird’s eye view of a life well-forged and how the discerning individual can do it, too.
